    Melanie Rowland is a retired Army officer and lifelong athlete who brings her passion for fitness, nutrition, and mental toughness to Trident Athletics. With a background in Special Operations and a Master’s degree in Human Nutrition, Melanie coaches CrossFit and teaches yoga, helping others find joy through movement.

    Turning Point

    Melanie’s fitness journey began at an early age, driven by a love for sports and physical challenges. Her passion for fitness and resilience deepened during her 20-year career in the Army, where she spent 15 years in Special Operations. The physical and mental demands of military life shaped her understanding of the importance of preparedness and strength. After retiring as an Army officer, Melanie transitioned her skills and experiences into a career dedicated to helping others achieve their physical and mental best. Her turning point came when she realized that her military experience could be used to inspire and empower others through fitness.
