  • Latest Challenge: Jonathan recently completed his first 10K race in 2022 and is currently training for his first half marathon in 2024, demonstrating his commitment to continually challenging himself and expanding his fitness horizons.

    Turning Point

    Jonathan has always prioritized a healthy, active lifestyle, with fitness being a central component throughout his life. Growing up, he participated in various sports and continued to challenge himself athletically during his career as a Navy Submariner. In 2018, a peer introduced him to CrossFit, and he quickly became devoted to its methodology. Within six months, Jonathan earned his CrossFit Level 1 certification and began coaching at his local box in Jacksonville, FL. This marked a significant turning point in his fitness journey, leading him to share his passion for CrossFit with others. Six years later, Jonathan is excited to bring his experiences as both an athlete and coach to the Trident community.

    Jonathan coaches to help athletes at Trident maximize their fitness abilities. He is passionate about setting goals and providing the tools and resources necessary to achieve them, all while ensuring that athletes have as much fun as possible in the process. For Jonathan, it's all about creating an exceptional Athlete Experience. He is particularly enthusiastic about gymnastics movements, with Benchmark WODs like Cindy and Diane being among his favorites.
