Anne-Marie Alderson is a former endurance athlete turned dedicated CrossFit coach. With a passion for helping others achieve their fitness goals, Anne-Marie brings her extensive experience in endurance sports and CrossFit to the Trident Athletics community.
Anne-Marie’s journey into fitness began with her career as an endurance athlete, where she completed numerous marathons and triathlons, including Ironman Louisville. In 2014, she accomplished one of her most significant achievements by completing the 3,000-mile Race Across America (RAAM) as part of a 4-woman team, finishing the race in 7 days, 7 hours, and 15 minutes. However, in 2017, after signing up for a Spartan Race, Anne-Marie discovered CrossFit as a way to build strength and learn essential skills for the obstacle course. The variety, community, and challenges of CrossFit captivated her, leading her to "retire" from endurance sports in 2018 to focus entirely on CrossFit.
Anne-Marie is passionate about helping others improve their fitness and health. She believes that everyone has their own unique fitness journey and is dedicated to supporting each athlete in reaching their individual goals. Anne-Marie finds immense joy in coaching, particularly in watching newer athletes master skills for the first time and grow stronger through their consistency and hard work. Her approach is rooted in the belief that fitness should be both challenging and enjoyable, and she strives to create an environment where athletes feel supported and motivated.
